Health & Wellbeing

Citizens Advice North Yorkshire contributes to improving our clients’ health and wellbeing in two ways:

  • Providing information and advice on health and community care problems.
  • Addressing the social determinants of health by resolving problems in areas such as welfare benefits, debt and housing.

NYCCWe also work in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) as part of their Health and Wellbeing strategy as well making referrals and signposting to other organisations including the NYCC Living Well team, Carers Centres, Age UK and North Yorkshire Advocacy, who may be better placed to help our client with particular issues.

Below you will find links for information and advice for Health and Wellbeing from the NYCC website as well as links to other organisations.

If you need further help or information, you can telephone 01748 823862 or use our email enquiry form which you can find here.
