About our advice service

Mon, Tues, Thursday - inital assessement slots are allocated at the beginning of the day (doors open at 10am) On registering at reception you will be given a time between 10.30 and 2.00pm for your assessment. Once all the slots are taken, there will be no more assessments until the next general advice session.

Scarborough and District CAB are part of Adviceline. When you speak to one of our assessors you will be offered a short interview so that we can agree the best way to help you. If nobody is availalbe or you call out of opening hours, there is 24hr recorded information.

If you call from a mobile, you will be given an alternative, cheaper number you can use if you wish. Please be prepared to enter any local landline number to ensure your call can be put through to your nearest bureau. The number you enter will not be used for any other purposes.
